Well… That Escalated: Thank You, Lunar Faire

There are nights when you pack the trailer, load the tables, haul entirely too many boxes around, and wonder somewhere along the way:

Was this a good idea?

And then there are nights like this one.

We came to Lunar Faire with books, layered paper art, cryptids, strange little treasures, and all the usual beautiful weirdness that makes Wand & Whisper what it is.

We left with considerably less of it.

And we could not be more grateful.

To Everyone Who Wandered Into Our Little Corner of the Faire…

Thank you to everyone who bought a book, chose a piece of art, picked out something strange, adopted a cryptid, asked us questions, laughed with us, took one of our cards, followed us online, or simply stopped long enough to say, “I love this booth.”

You made this one incredibly special.

Wand & Whisper began with a simple idea: create a place for people who find beauty in things that are a little unusual.

Books and folklore. Ghost stories and cryptids. Art and curiosities. Witchy things. Beautiful things. Slightly unsettling things.

Things with stories.

And every time we set up our traveling shop and watch someone discover something that feels like it was waiting specifically for them, that idea becomes a little more real.

This weekend, you made it very real.

Apparently, We Need to Make More Things

We learned a few things at this Faire.

First: you really like our layered paper art.

Noted.

Second: we need to order more books.

Also noted.

Third: if we put out a collection of cryptids looking for homes, some of you will apparently take that responsibility extremely seriously.

We respect this.

So between now and our next Faire, there will be a whole lot of restocking, making, printing, ordering, designing, and probably at least one moment when we ask ourselves why we thought of another new product when we already had enough to do.

That’s usually how Wand & Whisper works.

We’re building a strange little world somewhere Between Beauty & Shadow—one filled with books, handmade and curated treasures, folklore, history, cryptids, oddities, art, and whatever else catches our imagination along the way.

And we’re already working on the next adventure.

Wand & Whisper returns August 29 at the Atlantic County Fairgrounds for Lunar Faire’s Movies & Musicals theme.

Which presents a particularly dangerous opportunity for people who enjoy making things.

Us.

We have ideas.

There will be new products. There will be theatrical nonsense. There will be cinematic inspiration.

Will we reveal all of it yet?

Absolutely not.

You’ll have to keep watching.
