Roll for Initiative: Pride, Fantasy, and Finding Your Party

At Wand and Whisper, we believe fantasy has always been more than dragons, dice, and dungeon maps.

Fantasy gives people a place to belong.

For so many of us, tabletop gaming became a safe space long before we had the words for why we needed one. Around the table, you could become whoever you wanted to be — a chaotic bard, a morally questionable rogue, an emotional support warlock, or the healer keeping the entire party alive through pure spite and caffeine.

And honestly? There’s something deeply magical about that.

This Pride season, we wanted to create something playful, inclusive, and unapologetically nerdy: our D&D-inspired Pride hoodie collection.

Inspired by game nights, chosen family, critical fails, natural 20s, and the beautiful chaos of community, these hoodies were designed for every adventurer at the table. Whether you’re loud and proud, quietly finding yourself, or simply showing support for your fellow party members, you deserve spaces that feel welcoming, safe, and joyful.

Because when one party member is attacked…

we ALL roll initiative.

These limited preorder hoodies are available now through Wand and Whisper and can also be reserved in person during Lunar Faire. Pickup options will be available at Asbury Park Pride and Lunar Faire on June 20th.

Thank you for supporting small creators, queer-inclusive spaces, and a little bit of magic in the world.

Now gather your party.
And maybe keep an eye on the bard.
